Clare Grant is a senior at Elon University studying photojournalism, cinema and television arts, and business administration.
 
Clare works as a photojournalist for her school’s news organization, Elon News, a member of her school's chapter of the National Press Photography Association chapter as well as a member of the Society of Professional Journalists. In previous years she has served as photo editor as well as president of those organizations, respectively. 
 
Clare’s work has been published by The Tacoma News Tribune, Elon News Network, the Carolina Public Press and The Burlington Times-News where she freelances for. Her work has been honored nationally by the Society of Professional Journalists and other organizations. Clare is a versatile photographer skilled in news, features, portraits, sports and more.

 

While Clare loves taking photos of anything, she has a passion for traveling and photographing people in their environments while being able to tell stories about their lives.
 
She is a go-getter willing to drop what she is doing to go on assignment, and proactively looks for her own assignments and projects.

After graduation, Clare will be working for the IndyStar as a Pulliam Photojournalism Fellow.
